Well, I love to give my opinion and ideas (ask anyone I know!) although I like to think I'm not obnoxious about it (self-delusion?). But I really wanted to start a blog about things I've learned and have an outlet to talk about gardening, recipes, and house stuff and be able to include pictures. 

I'd love to be a resource for anyone wanting to live well on less. I think it's the best way to live - even if you don't have to! All it takes is a mind-set of being contented with what you have. After that, it can become a game - there's a thrill in finding a good deal, using coupons and sales to buy $60.00 worth of groceries for $24.00, or finding other people's castoff's and turning them into a unique treasure. 

There are a lot of sites about one or the other - I'd like to be a site that brings them all together in one spot and where we can dialog about how it all can work to make our lives more simple and full of the things that really matter, friends and family.
