We’ve Been Featured In Cottages & Bungalows!

Do you remember when I mentioned I had an exciting announcement? I can hardly believe I’m able to tell you this:

Our DIY paper floor treatment is featured in the April edition of Cottages & Bungalows!!

It’s been killing me to keep it under wraps, especially when I’ve heard that other people had already seen it, but I had to wait for my copies- just to make sure it was for real. *smile*

See that blue circle on the bottom? The title “Creative Flooring” is our article- we even made a mention on the cover- yea!

This is pretty cool, isn’t it? We used pictures from our daughter’s room instead of our son’s, as it shows more of the floor in her room (plus I like the furniture better!).

I was expecting a two page layout, so I was surprised to see we have four pages total- two for the intro and two to show the steps.

Those are my hands, too- does that make me a hand model now?

I’d like to thank everyone at the magazine for featuring us- especially Jickie for all her work and prompt answering of all my questions.

AND for providing April issues to give away PLUS four year-long subscriptions to Cottages & Bungalows magazines for readers of An Oregon Cottage! Isn’t that great?

So be sure to check back Friday for a chance to win the April issue plus a year’s subscription.

-Jami

  22. Wow! Congratulations on the feature!

  23. Bonnie says:

Wow! I don’t buy this magazine every time it comes out, even though I love it, but I bought this issue based entirely on your floor idea and the how-to! I’m going to do my living room, which actually should be totally refloored but I figure all the glue and poly will buy me a few more years!

  24. Jami @An Oregon Cottage says:

Bonnie- Great idea, I think you will really like how it can “buy you more time” in your living room.

Don’t forget about our video on the technique before you start your project- it’s a lot more detailed than the magazine and walks you through all the steps. :-)
