I’m happy to announce that ALL the posts on An Oregon Cottage are now printer friendly thanks to the awesome free tool available on the PrintFriendly website! And for any bloggers out there who are interested, it took only a few minutes to set up, so you will definitely want to check it out.
You know I love things like this- easy and useful!
Instead of only being able to easily print the recipes (like we’ve had for awhile here), you’ll now be able to print all the how-to’s you’re interested in as well (like How To Cut A Whole Chicken, How To Make A Canvas Log Carrier, How To Make Cappuccinos, or How To Kill Weeds Without Spraying).
When you find something you’d like to print out, simply look for this button at the bottom the post:

Clicking on the button opens a new page that includes all the text and any pictures in addition to options for printing, as well as deleting any of my occasionally long-winded intros (uh-um…) or anything else you’d like.
In other words, it’s customizable to exactly what you’d like to take away from An Oregon Cottage! I think this is much better than the separate printable recipe pages I’ve been providing, since pictures are included, so I will no longer include those links next to the recipes (and it will save me time- where has this been all my blogging life?).
I think this is really cool, and I hope you do, too! Let me know how it works for you and what you think!

I believe a cottage can be anywhere or anything (condo, ranch, farmhouse) as long as you have a "cottage mentality" which puts people above things, celebrates imperfections, embraces simplicity, and finds joy in everyday life. Thanks for joining me!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely be checking it out.
Thanks for sharing this–I’ve just added it to my blog as well. I’ve never liked trying to print a blog page and using up all my ink and paper for ads!
Thanks for telling us about this.. mine is having trouble showing? I’ll keep at it.. wonderful button!
Thank you
Sandy
