First Tuesday Garden Party of 2012 Is Coming!
So excited to remind you of the first Tuesday Garden Party of the new gardening season! Get those posts ready and mark your calendars for:
Tuesday, March 6th! (<-tweet this)
Need a bit of inspiration while it may be snowing at your place (like ours as I write this!)? And if you live in the south and already have your garden started, I sure hope to see your posts - they will be so wonderful in helping us see what our northern gardens can be in the next few months!
Here are a few highlights from the last "Best Of" TGP in October:
Let's Face The Music shared how to create bamboo trellises a la Martha Stewart.
ZentMrs. & The Mr. shared their midsummer garden update.
Chickadee Garden showed us her lovely cottage garden - full and lovely. Reminds me that our barren gardens can look like this again in a few months!
And Green Bean Chronicles took us on a tour of her homestead gardens. Neat and tidy, yet overflowing with plants and color. Yum.
See you on the 6th!

Oooh, how exciting!! Your garden link party is my fave - I've found so many awesome blogs through it.
ReplyDeleteNow more than ever I need a nice clear, warm day to get outside and clean up!
Now I REALLY have spring fever (not to mention 4' of snow still on the ground!!!)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what's blooming in the south. :)
I'm really looking forward to the garden party starting up again! (I made your sausage/white beans/greens gratin last night, with a freezer burned artisan loaf found buried in the freezer that I turned into large croutons to sop up the juices -- very yummy!).
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it, Diana! And using freezer burned bread? A girl after my own heart- love it!
DeleteHooray, Hooray!! I don't want to offend but this is really the reason I read your blog, the Garden Parties!! We don't really eat the kinds of things you eat (meat, bread, desserts, etc.) and our styles are quite different but I sure do love seeing all those lovely garden ideas from everyone! Oh, and I enjoy your canning and preserving posts, too!
ReplyDeleteNo offense taken, Jenna - I hope to have something for everyone here (I know some of my readers don't garden...). I had to laugh, though, at you thinking we eat nothing but meat, bread, and desserts - we have desserts 1x/week, if that - guess sometimes things are a bit skewed through a blog. :-)
DeleteWe do like our bread, though, oh, yes we do. :-)
You can count me in!
ReplyDeleteYay! Must mean spring is coming.
ReplyDeleteI was just getting my seeds and pots out to start and got your e-mail. Looking forward to the new season. Also I made your artisan bread recipe I have been meaning to try last night for our usual Friday Night Dinner with friends. It turned out great. Just e-mailed my sister the link. She is running out to get an enameled dutch oven from Costco where we got ours!
