Quick And Easy Frozen Yogurt

easy frozen yogurt

Seriously you aren’t going to believe this: put frozen fruit into a food processor with some Greek yogurt, a bit of honey and whir it up.

Is that crazy, or what? And where has this been all my life?

Quick-and-Easy-Frozen-Yogurt

You can eat it right away, but it will be firmer (like in my pictures) if you freeze it. It gets a bit hard, but a little thawing and it scoops right out. This would also make great quick and easy popscicles, too!

Oh, I’ll go on record saying that it’s maybe not the super creamy texture you get with a machine, but it sure tastes a lot like regular frozen yogurt: it’s smooth, cool, and refreshing – and how can you beat “three ingredients, two minutes?”

Sounds just right for a hot summer afternoon.

Quick and Easy Frozen Yogurt

  • 1-1/2 c. Greek yogurt
  • 4 c.  frozen berries (strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries)
  • 2 Tb. honey
  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and whirl until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately for soft serve, or freeze for a firmer, scoop-able frozen treat (if frozen hard, let thaw on the counter a bit or microwave about 10 seconds for easier scooping).

Makes about 4 cups
