It’s that time of year again: our season-ending “Favorites of 2012″ Tuesday Garden Party where we choose our favorite post from the last season to link up and share!
If everyone who’s participated this last season links up a post they love – something we can learn from, be inspired about, or just ooh and ahh over – we’ll have a wonderful index to return to for information and ideas. Kinda like our own TGP Pinterest board – ha!
AND… just by linking up you will be entered into a random drawing to win a $40 gift certificate!
It’s from one of my favorite places to order seeds and garden supplies:

Pinetree Garden Seeds! They are a favorite because they offer smaller seed packets for us home gardeners (less waste) which of course save us money. Which means we can buy more seeds – yeah! And Pinetree always carries my favorite bean – Emerite – which makes them a catalog I order from every year.
They actually also have a great selection of other things, too, like soap-making supplies, herbal extracts, books, and more – all at great prices.
Gee, I sound like a commercial, but I’m actually not affiliated with them – I just like what they offer and want to share with you!
And while I know that some of you continue to garden through November, December, January, and February, the participation at the TGP in the past during these months has slowed down to a trickle, so it just makes sense to take a break and start again in March. Plus, we gardeners are always excited about the new gardening season around then- before the bugs, drought, and problems come our way!
So, again: all you need to do is to link up your greatest 2012 post and you will be entered to win the gift certificate!
Here are the the terms and conditions for the giveaway:
- By entering, you are agreeing to the rules outlined on An Oregon Cottage’s Giveaway Page.
- The giveway will end when the TGP closes on Thursday, October 18th at 10:00pm PST.
- The winner will be chosen at random by InLinkz.com and will be notified by email.
- The winner must reply to An Oregon Cottage in 48 hours to claim the prize or another winner will be chosen.

I believe a cottage can be anywhere or anything (condo, ranch, farmhouse) as long as you have a "cottage mentality" which puts people above things, celebrates imperfections, embraces simplicity, and finds joy in everyday life. Thanks for joining me!

Oops, the second entry is actually my favorite post of the year. The first is just some really good soup.
Yael from Home Garden Diggers
I had fun going back through my garden posts from this year…trying to pick a favorite was tricky. I settled on a post from spring, when the garden was still a partially blank slate, and full of promises…before the drought and bugs
I love Pinetree garden seeds, one of my favorite seed catalogs too! Good luck to all the entries
Oh my goodness. How will I ever pick a favorite!?
I linked up a new post, but I’ll go through and pick one from this spring or summer.
Thanks for a great season of partying!!!
Thank you so much for hosting the garden party this season, Jami–it’s always fun to see what other gardeners are up to!
I don’t blog…I can’t link…but I did want to say thank you for telling about Pinetree Garden Seeds. I went to their site and I really like the idea of being able to buy smaller packets, I’m a ‘black thumb’ gardener! Thanks for the information.
Hardly seems possible that another Tuesday Garden Party season is over. I always look forward to the Tuesday link-up. Thanks Jamie.
I shared on FB and Twitter.
Thanks so much, Barb! I know – I miss all my garden buds during the winter, but it makes it all the more exciting to greet a new gardening season in March.
