Best Of 2011 Tuesday Garden Party & Giveaway!

The winner of the $40 gift certificate is: Kelly at Creating A Family Home. Congratulations, Kelly!

Welcome to the Best of 2011 TGP!

Let’s say goodbye to the formal gardening season by linking up your best TGP post (or general gardening post) from 2011- which will automatically enter you in a giveaway for a $40 gift certificate to Territorial Seed Company!

I know for some of you the season ended a month ago and for others the garden will continue to produce because you garden in a warm zone (or you are superstars of the winter garden!). But for most of us, we’re closing up shop, hunkering down and thinking about the holidays.

Which is fine! I loved all your guys’ creative ideas, inspirations, lovely photos, and honest words about your gardens and I’m totally looking forward to spring 2012!

When I announced a few weeks ago that today would be the last TGP for the 2011 season, some of you asked what would take it’s place here at An Oregon Cottage, and I’m happy to tell you that we’re going to start a new linky party on Wednesdays:

As many of you know, I’m a big proponent of handmade items. I love making and giving handmade things- though what I really like are SIMPLE homemade things. *smile* I’m looking forward to seeing what great things you come up with that you’d like to share!

Join us tomorrow, October 19th for the first “Well-Made Wednesday.” It can be a new or old post, it doesn’t matter, as I’d like this to be a go-to list for people when they’re trying to find things to make.

On to the giveaway and linky!

How to enter:

  • Remember, just by linking up a favorite garden post from the last season you will be entered to win a $40 Territorial Garden Seed gift certificate as our way of thanking you for your support of the 2011 Tuesday Garden Party.
  • However, I don’t want to leave anyone out, so if you don’t have a blog but would like to be included in the giveaway, you can “like” An Oregon Cottage’s Facebook Page and then leave a comment here saying you did, PLUS YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS and I will enter you in the random drawing for the gift certificate.
  • And since this is a thank you for participants, all those who link a post can get a second entry if you’d like by doing the same thing- “liking” An Oregon Cottage’s FB page and leaving a comment here that you did so (plus email!).

Here are the the terms and conditions for the giveaway:

-By entering, you are agreeing to the rules outlined on An Oregon Cottage’s Giveaway Page.
-The giveway will end when the TGP closes on Thursday, October 20th at 8:00pm PST.
-The winner will be chosen at random using and will be notified by email.
-The winner must reply in 48 hours to claim the prize or another winner will be chosen at random.

Ok, I think we can finally link up our “Best of 2011″ posts! I’ll include my best post in the linky simply because I don’t want this post to get any longer,  but don’t worry- I won’t be entering myself in the drawing. *smile*

    Hi Jami~
I linked up and I tried to ‘like’ your facebook page but am having trouble there. I hit the like button below your post and it shows 1 now. Hope that means I liked your page! I am so computer illiterate! If this is wrong let me know and I will try again.
Thanks for hosting the Garden Party. It has been fun and I am looking forward to joining in on the Handmade Wednesdays!

Choosing my “Best of 2011″ was more difficult than I expected! But is certainly was fun to go back and wander through my garden as grew throughout the summer….

Thanks for hosting this again this year and I’m already looking forward to next year!

Thanks for yet another wonderful year of other people’s gardens, Jami. It’s a delight to see the successes and reassuring to see that I’m not the only one with failures!

Looking forward to sharing and enjoying the handmade treasures throughout the rest of the year. What a good idea!

Now off to “like” you on FB :) As if there was any doubt!

Hi, Gardening is my #1 passion. Had a hard time deciding what post to share. Not that they are wonderful, just love all flowers. Thanks for a fun party. A bit sad to put my garden to rest. Anxious to see what others have to share.
