Confident Mom Planner Review {and Exclusive Discount Code!}

confident mom planner review

I was so excited when Susan contacted me about sponsoring AOC and reviewing her Confident Mom Planner, not only because she’s a one of my awesome readers and I love to work with readers, but also because she’s got such a quality product. And I, a-hem, may be one of those people who like to check things off a list.

Have you noticed that it may be a small thing that took only a few minutes to complete, but if you check it off a list you get this huge feeling of accomplishment? Yeah…I really like that. So I think you can imagine that a planner that allows me to check things off daily would be perfect.

And I have to say I was blown away by the Confident Mom Planner – Susan has really thought of everything! Although I should’ve expected that since she is a Family and Life Coach who has talked to lots of women and knows what they like and need – to be more organized and not cave under the pressure of balancing housekeeping with family, work, and hobbies. As Susan states about the planner:

Based upon my own needs and the needs of the many moms I’ve coached over the years, I have developed my own weekly household planner that I believe rivals any household planner on the market. This weekly planner breaks down household tasks into manageable daily and weekly bite size pieces, utilizing smaller increments of time to keep the tasks from becoming too large and overwhelming

After using some of the planner’s pages, I have to agree! While the planner itself doesn’t start until the first week of the new year, I changed up the dates and used one of the weekly planner pages to test it out for this review. I found it to be super helpful in reminding me of little tasks I often overlook (um, clean out the crumb tray of the toaster oven?) and then providing that little rush when in a few minutes of time I was able to check it off the list – woot!

I also love that right at the top of each day’s tasks is a Bible reading plan that will take you through the Bible in a year. Even if I chose to read a different plan, it’s nice to have it right there each day to remind me – and make it a habit.

But, honestly, I was most excited about the supplemental pack that you can buy with the planner. It includes things like a Holiday Gift Planner Worksheet, which I put to use right away. There are boxes to check off when you buy it, and when you wrap it, and when you deliver it. Check, check, check…I LOVE it! I’ve also started using the Special Occasion Calendar/Gift Planner as well. I’ve tried many different ways over the years to organize and keep track of birthdays and gifts and I can tell you this is thorough and easy to use.

Really, there’s so much more – be sure to visit The Confident Mom Planner page for all the information. And I’m excited to share with you that Susan is offering AOC readers a special discount of $12.00 for the full planner (which includes all the extras like the gift planners I mentioned) – a savings of $2 off the original $14.00 price! To get the special discount enter:  ORCOT2  at checkout.

What do you use to keep on top of household tasks? Would a planner like this be useful?

  1. I think I would love to try it. I am a check off person too. I have been toying with different ideas on how to implement just the things you mentioned that are in the planner. I keep finding myself saying I need a reminder of when to change the filters on the furnace; when to get it serviced; when to clean the gutters; clean the ceiling fan, etc. They are not every day duties or things that call my immediate attention so I forget or put them off.
    I am willing to try the planner. It sounds like it would definitely be worth more than $12 if it would help me be more organized and therefore less stressed.
    Thanks for sharing.

    • Exactly, Marci – all those little things we forget that should be done! I hope you find it helps you stay on top of things.

  2. Our family is always on the go and we could definitely use a planner to help us keep things organized.

    I love the idea of this planner and am going to take advantage of the deal. I did have to go and find the web site on my own, it seems that your links are not working. Thank you!

    • Oh my goodness, Deborah, thanks for the heads-up! I fixed the links and I hope you enjoy using the planner and find it helpful. :)
