Welcome! I’m so glad you’re joining me for this first Tuesday Garden Party. As I wrote in the announcement, I envision this as a place to be able to peek into other’s gardens and find inspiration and information each week.
So if you’re a blogger please link up and show us what you’re up to, and if you’re a reader, let us know in the comments what your garden is like and what you did this last weekend.
What did I accomplish this weekend?
I planted all the tomatoes and covered them in floating row cover cloth to make my crazy tomato covers.
I transplanted chard and seeded spinach, lettuce, carrots, and beets. Even though I’m a month late (thanks to our vole problem), I went ahead and planted a small row of a variety of peas that is supposed to not be bothered as much be the heat. We’ll see.
I also moved around some plants in my flower borders and got rid of some dead ones. I lost a number of pretty major plants due to our unusual week in December with lows of 11 degrees. Darn, that means I need to buy more plants.
