An Oregon Cottage at BetterRecipes.com

So, I did something spur-of-the-moment over the weekend that I’ve never done before…

I entered a recipe contest. Where readers can vote for their favorite.

Eeek! What was I thinking? Anything remotely resembling a popularity contest I usually run screaming from because I don’t like failing (though who does?) and it always just seems weird to go ‘against’ others  - especially in this case since food is so subjective. Like I said, it I just sorta signed up (they made it real easy!) and then was like, huh-oh…what did I just do? Ha!

SO, I’d like to ask you, sweet readers, to vote for my recipe – it’s one of our favorites:

Slow Cooker Chicken with Artichokes Dried Tomatoes and Olives - An Oregon Cottage

I hope you have tried it – it’s really good with a great depth of flavor that comes from using dried and regular tomatoes – but even if you think you’d like to try it (’cause it does look good, doesn’t it?), you can vote for it! (Oh, you can find this recipe on An Oregon Cottage here if you’d like to pin this for later!)

What exactly is the contest? Here’s some information from BetterRecipes.com:

Slow Cooker Best Blogger Recipe Contest
This recipe is entered in the March recipe contest as described below:

CLICK HERE to vote – and guess what? You can vote once a day all month long!

Thank you!!

Um…and you can pretty much guess this will be my last spur-of-the-moment recipe contest decision!

I tried to vote but something came up that said answer the question. There was no question.

    • Yeah, it’s kooky, Charlotte – but it must be a spam-protector thing, cause they want you to write just what they say after “Please Enter:” I don’t know if there are a bunch of different ones, but under the drawing/photo it said “Please Enter: Right tree, Right place.” I typed in right tree, right place and the vote went through. I agree it is confusing! :)
