Thinking About Decluttering?

declutter_ebook_cover Are you like me and just itching to get your hands on all the stuff that’s clogging up your _________________? (fill in the blank) For me, it’s my recipes and studio closets which are filled with old fabrics and crafts that need to be culled – desperately.

Seriously, I could hardly wait to get all the Christmas decorations put away so I could begin on my list of stuff that’s been bugging me. Isn’t it funny how that happens at this time of year? I’ve mentioned it to a number of people and they all feel the same way, too. Hmmm.

Which is why I was SO excited to learn that my friend Dana (aka, Nony) from A Slob Comes Clean has a new ebook out all about decluttering: Drowning in Clutter? Don’t Grab a Floatie, Drain the Ocean! And if you’ve read her book from last year – 28 Days to Hope For Your Home – then you know that this book is gonna be:

  • Real
  • Helpful – broken down into small, do-able steps
  • Honest
  • Funny – an easy read

And I’m so sorry I didn’t get this up earlier, but if you act fast, you can get Drowning in Clutter for only $3.00 through January 2nd!  After that it will still only be $4.00 until the end of January before going up to its regular price of $5.00.

And if you haven’t read her first book yet, there is even a 2-book deal on the PDF set – only $4 for BOTH books through today (the 2nd), or $6.00 through the end of January! (note: while the 28 Days ebook is available on Amazon, the new book and the set deal only comes in a PDF version, but there are instructions on how to get this format on your Kindle)

Even though these are affiliate links, I want you to know I truly love Dana’s books! She’s got such a refreshing voice that gives hope and addresses issues we all deal with but are often too embarrassed or overwhelmed to talk about. And simplicity and decluttering pretty much go hand-in-hand, don’t they?

Go here to find out more and to order the new book or the set.

Are you making any goals about getting rid of stuff for 2013?

  1. Must move beyond the “thinking” to the “doing”! :)
I’ve read some at Dana’s blog in the past, but for $4 I went ahead and made the 2-book purchase! Maybe we can make this chaotic ocean look and feel more like a cozy pond?

    Happy New Year!

  2. Thank you! I bought both ebooks and downloaded to Kindle. Read the 28 days — great stuff! Gonna share with my adult son as he’s needing a refresher in the basics.
I really do appreciate the heads up on this fabulous deal.
