Tuesday Garden Party 8.12.14

Wow, last week’s first co-hosted Tuesday Garden Party was fantastic, wasn’t it? With more than 100 links, there was plenty of inspiration to go around and I knew that Shelly, our host for this week, had her work cut out for her to choose the features since there were so many great posts linked up! But she did not disappoint – her collage below is nothing less than beautiful and may have you going back to last week to check out something you may have missed, ha!

You’ll want to make sure to link back to the party on your posts and follow the co-hosts to be featured – and remember your links and features will show up on all five co-host’s blogs. Pretty cool. I can’t wait to check out this week’s links!

From your host for this week, Shelly @ Frugal Family Home:

Frugal Family Home Garden Harvests via An Oregon Cottage

This week has been a great week for harvesting. My husband picked a bunch of blueberries, while eating some too. :) I was able to harvest enough cucumbers to be able to make batch of refrigerator dill pickles (recipe coming soon).

Our green beans are really starting to produce too. I’ll be canning green beans soon. The tomatoes are a little slower in ripening but we have been getting a handful of cherry tomatoes about twice a week.

I also discovered my neighbor neglected to plant zucchini. So, I have someone to share our extra zucchini with.

Here’s the featured links from last week:

Cherry and Early girl tomatoes are doing well here…due to cooler than usual ( unheard of, actually ) temps the heirlooms are coming along so slowly! Then again I started them from seed …

Your blueberries look so delicious of COURSE he was eating and picking at the same time! :)

Great features this week. Love the birdie decal and the turquoise headboard. And looks like your recent garden haul is good enough to eat, Shelly. :) Off to check out this week’s link-ups…..
