EEK! Sorry about the mix up! It’s fixed and should be ready to link up now. Thanks for letting me know (I was wondering where everyone was…)
I did learn about some other perennials last week from the garden party participants, and I appreciated seeing some fall harvests, being reminded to plant some garlic (I finally did last week!), and seeing some fun fall decor. Thank you all for being creative and showing us that garden spirit!
As for this week’s theme (remember- you can link anything, the themes are just to help those of us who need an idea…), I have to confess I need your help and inspiration! I’ve never been the most wonderful container creator, but lately my poor pots have suffered from extreme neglect.
Witness the pot that greets people at our front door:
There was a pansy from March, too, but it finally gave up the ghost at the beginning of September. Then I left a nice big hole until I harvested all my little “Baby Boo” pumpkins which I used to fill the gap.
If that doesn’t convince you of the sorry state of my containers, how about this:
Apparently, the next March.
Here’s a bonus, though: I’ve never gotten as much bloom from primroses before. In fact, I didn’t know they would bloom again when the weather cooled.
Gee, maybe I’ll keep them in the pots all the time.
But I hope you’ll give us some great ideas so I might be motivated to have something a little more lively to greet our guests!
