Did you guys notice all the great food related links from last week’s garden party? I thought they all were awesome so I decided to highlight them for you this week in case you missed them – probably because I’m in the midst of making a bunch of recipes myself with all my garden harvest and I have garden vegetables on my mind!
This was truly new to me, I actually have never thought of either freezing or drying celery before like Frugal Family Home (other than the ends I freeze with other vegetables to use to make stock). What a good idea! I always seem to either have celery going bad or none when I need it and having it dried or frozen would solve both those problems, wouldn’t it?
I love roasted peppers and right now I have a lot, but I’ve never roasted peppers on the grill before – another good idea, this time from Deep Roots at Home.
I wish I had some Italian plums left to make this fun and different recipe for Goat Cheese Stuffed Italian Prunes from Rindy Mae (by the way, she’s always got some great recipes goin’ on over there!).
This Hearty Fall Salad from Five in the Foothills is aptly named – it looks like a delicious way to eat kale!
I love a good Roasted Tomato Marinara sauce and when I saw that Amaranth & Kale serve it with Cheesy Quinoa Bites it’s just…yum!
Finally, can you believe these flowers are actually dried pineapples? These coconut cupcakes with dried pineapples by The Novice Gardener are so beautiful, I totally thought they were actual flowers at first!
I’m looking forward to seeing if there are any more great food links this week for the Garden Party!
